Lou Wegner is an animal's friend. In 2009, Lou W. started a Facebook page, Kids Against Animal Cruelty, a place where kids came together to stand up for animal rights. He wanted to reach out to other people to tell them that millions of dogs and cats are dying in shelters across the nation. He wants to motivate people to adopt instead of buy, that wonderful animals are waiting at animal shelters, waiting for loving and a home. Lou is showing other teen activists that they can make a difference. Lou Wegner also does more than just run the Kids Against Animal Cruelty the Facebook page, he also has created multiple public announcements, which tell people about high kill rates at US Shelters..
